Registering to Vote in Connecticut

1.  If you are not sure if you are registered, go to this link to find out.  At this link you will also find your polling place: http://www.dir.ct.gov/sots/LookUp.aspx
2.  If you are not registered to vote, please go to this link and download the form:  http://www.sots.ct.gov/sots/lib/sots/electionservices/electforms/electforms/ed-671s.pdf
3.  Either mail the form in an envelope before this Tuesday October 27th (postmarked by Tuesday) or take it directly to your local registrar of voters in your Town Hall.  If you are a West Hartford resident, here is the address:

4.  If you are not a West Hartford voter, go to this link to find the address of your local registrar in your town hall:
 You can register to vote on Election Day if you are registering for the first time or have moved to a new town.
 You MUST provide identification and proof of residency to register on election day.  Contact your local registrar of voters to find out exactly where you would register on election day.  It will probably not be your polling place.
