You are invited to attend the CEA Hartford County Forum at Maneeley’s restaurant in South Windsor on Monday, January 25th.
Maneeley’s website and directions: http://maneeleys.com/
Dinner will be provided from 4 pm to 5 pm. (Good food…buffet style)
At 5:00, there will be some short speeches by those running for CEA Board of Directors (including our own Tom Devine) followed by the vote. We would love to have as many WeHa teachers as possible. (open to all members)
Then at 5:30, there will be a presentation about the upcoming U.S. Supreme Court Case known as the Freidrich’s case. This case could have a dramatic impact on the way that unions operate in this country. This will probably be a 45 minute presentation.
The meeting will adjourn at about 6:30 or 7 pm.
Please consider joining your colleagues. This is a good chance to get a little more involved in WHEA and CEA. The school with the most attendees will receive a gold coin.
RSVP’s must be received by Jan. 19th. The sooner the better.
Yours in solidarity.
Ted Goerner
WHEA President
