For the fiscal year 16/17 which begins on July 1, 2016 there will be $60,000 available for tuition reimbursement. It will be allocated only to those who submit pre-approval paperwork and are approved before taking a class. For anyone taking a summer course that will be completed after of July 1, 2016 you may submit a request to use 2016/2017 funds. Preapproval forms are available in your school office. Payment will be made after December 15th for any course that has been completed. The amount of reimbursement will be dependent upon the cost of your course, and how many teachers apply to be reimbursed. Therefore the only guarantee in terms of a reimbursement amount is that you will get some money if you are preapproved and submit for reimbursement by December 1. The amount actually reimbursed will vary year to year but will not exceed $1000.00. You will be notified afterDecember 1st as to the amount you will be reimbursed.
